Founder, Priscilla Bordogna, opened up with a short introduction and thanking her volunteers for their efforts leading up to the big night. Guests enjoyed food that was donated by Calli's Restaurant, located off Forbes Avenue in Frick Park, and the wonderful Bettie Page Chinese Auction. Opening entertainment was performed by Full Time Divas – Debra Humphrey & Krista Kaley whose vocal chords were sung beautifully and could be heard down to the U.S. Steel Tower.
Survivor Jodi McKinney, a New Jersey native, told her story of battling HPV and how the HPV test helped save her life. Dr. Robert Edwards gave us the clinical side of HPV and cervical cancer. Latin Ballroom dancer, Ryan Mitchell and his partner Samara McCullough ended the night with a sensational performance; although there may have been a hair malfunction, the duo managed to end the night on top!
Run 2 Inspire would like to thank all of our sponsors, volunteers, supporters, and event attendees. Without them, the night would not have been a great success. Run 2 Inspire raised $500 for Magee-Womens Research Institute & Foundation and hope to raise more in the coming months.
Special Thanks
